Laurie... read more and Gavin were a breath of fresh air in my job hunt that ultimately and quite quickly led to me getting my ideal first job in the industry that I wanted...during a pandemic and a recession! Recruitment first began with a phone call and a brief reminder of the role that I had applied for through Reed and a small discussion about my experience and aims for employment. I then forwarded my CV and portfolio through to the team (Laurie and Gavin) and they had a look through and gave some helpful feedback before sending it off to the Employer. Throughout the process they were sure to be professional but still friendly and chatty in style which is a comfort compared to the cold manner of other recruiters. They kept me updated through email and call which was ideal and were quick to reply to enquiries. Text updates also happened during crucial stage such as before the online interview and important emails from the employer.
