Laurie... read more and Gavin were a breath of fresh air in my job hunt that ultimately and quite quickly led to me getting my ideal first job in the industry that I wanted...during a pandemic and a recession! Recruitment first began with a phone call and a brief reminder of the role that I had applied for through Reed and a small discussion about my experience and aims for employment. I then forwarded my CV and portfolio through to the team (Laurie and Gavin) and they had a look through and gave some helpful feedback before sending it off to the Employer. Throughout the process they were sure to be professional but still friendly and chatty in style which is a comfort compared to the cold manner of other recruiters. They kept me updated through email and call which was ideal and were quick to reply to enquiries. Text updates also happened during crucial stage such as before the online interview and important emails from the employer. Before the final call back they were sure to keep me assured that ‘no news is good news’ and it turned out to be just that as I’m now working in the exact kind of role I wanted post-graduation. It has been a delight working with Laurie, Gavin and TwentyFour who have been very supportive throughout the whole process even after starting work and offered to stay in touch for any help I might need. If they can't answer their phone they would always text me back saying they are in a meeting and they would call me back. Not many recruitment companies even bother but they do. They have always placed me in a job within 3 weeks. And more importantly once they place you in a job they will still be in contact with you to see how you are getting on and they CARE.
